Josh Summers

I'm a husband and a homeschool dad. I spent time in the Army. My life verse is Galatians 2:20, and I mean it in the plain sense: crucified with Christ, alive because He is.

I write as a Reformed Baptist. Scripture is enough. Grace is grace. The local church matters. Baptism belongs to those who believe, and it is by immersion. The house is where our kids first learn who God is. Work is the job He put in my hands.

The Army taught me to show up. I'm still learning why I can show up without pretending I can save anybody. If something here helps you open the Bible, go to church, or love the people in the next room, that's enough.

I plan to write often. Articles, pictures, the occasional longer piece. Most of it will look ordinary. I think that's the point.

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.
